Biography
Augustine Quek is the Program Manager of the E2S2-CREATE program. He has held various positions from Post-doctoral Researcher to faculty position. His research has dealt with converting various solid wastes streams into useful materials which include converting waste rubber tyres into wastewater treatment adsorbents, hydrothermal treatment of horticultural wastes and utilizing incineration bottom ash (IBA) for land reclamation.

Biography
Biography Pr. Lingai LUO received her Ph.D. degree (1991) in mechanic and thermal engineering from National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (INPL), Nancy, France. She worked as associate professor at University of Nancy I and at INPL, France. From 2003 until 2012 she was a full professor at University of Savoie, France. She is now senior research director of French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) at the Laboratory of Thermal Science an Energy, Nantes (LTEN), France. Pr. Luo is the author of 2 books and over 100 journal articles. She is Head of a research group of LTEN “Transfers in Fluids et Energy Systems", and was the head of laboratory of design optimization and environmental engineering (LOCIE) of CNRS and University of Savoie She was the cofounder and coordinator of Sino-French Collaboratory for Environmental and Process Engineering and is the head of its successor Sino-French Laboratory for Sustainable Energy of French CNRS and Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is also an invited professor at 5 Chinese universities/institutions, and Leuphana University at Lüneburg, Germany. Shi is Subject Editor for the topic “Energy and Buildings†of Elsevier journal "Energy" , and Member of Editorial Board of "Renewable Energy", and Associate editor of "Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering" and of Frontiers in Built Environment.

Prof. Prof. Dr Miklas Scholz holds the Chair in Civil Engineering at The University of Salford, United Kingdom. He is also a Professor in Water Resources Engineering at Lund University, Sweden. His main research areas in terms of publication output are treatment wetlands, integrated constructed wetlands, sustainable flood retention basins, permeable pavement systems, decision support systems, ponds, climate change and capillary suction time. He has published three books and 200 journal articles. Prof. Scholz has total citations of more than 3730 (above 2719 citations since 2011), resulting in an h-index of 31 and an i10-Index of 89 (3 December 2016).
